📢 Introducing Dr. Ayodele Ojedokun, LL.D – Our Post-Doctoral Fellow at SARCIL
We are thrilled to officially welcome Ojedokun to the SARCIL family.
Dr. Ojedokun brings extensive expertise in Public International Law and International Humanitarian Law (IHL). He holds an LL.B from Obafemi Awolowo University and both an LL.M and LL.D in Public International Law from the University of Pretoria where he was under the supervision of our very own SARCIL research associate, Associate Professor Martha Magdalena Bradley (she/ her).
As an admitted Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, he merges academic excellence with practical legal experience.
His dedication to international law is evident in his participation in the 2020 All-Africa Course on International Humanitarian Law (ICRC) and the 2023 Centenary Edition of the Summer Course on Public International Law at The Hague Academy of International Law, where he was awarded a prestigious doctoral scholarship.
Dr. Ojedokun has also contributed to academia as a guest lecturer on the laws of armed conflict at the University of Pretoria, University of Johannesburg, and PalackĂ˝ University in the Czech Republic. His hands-on experience includes an internship with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in 2024.
With publications in both book chapters and academic journals, Dr. Ojedokun is a valuable asset to our research team. We look forward to his contributions to international law scholarship and policy development.
